The Honeywell Home THX1200 ElitePRO S1200 Smart Thermostat not only uses an onboard radar sensor to detect occupancy and pull back heating and cooling when a space empties out, but also streams video from First Alert and Ring doorbells. This model is available in two color choices: white or black.
The ElitePRO S1200 earns its keep beyond standard furnace and air conditioning wiring systems, supporting dual fuel, fan-coil, PTAC, and radiant equipment, along with hot water and milli-volt systems. That makes one control platform workable across a house and a light commercial suite alike.

The THX1200 ElitePRO S1200 Smart Thermostat should be mounted horizontally to a J-Box using the included UWP wall plate and cover plate with J-Box adapter, and hardwired with the C-wire. It measures 3.54 x 5.24 x 0.96 inches (H x W x D) and weighs 0.91 pounds, so it sits flat without dominating the wall. It should be installed in a conditioned space between 37 and 102 degrees F and out of direct sun so the readings reflect the room.
