Stay cool this summer with the Keystone KSTAW05DE 5,000 BTU Window AC. This versatile unit keeps you comfortable while operating at a high efficiency and is perfect for any space up to 150 sq. ft. Equipped with a UL safety listing, it uses the energy-efficient coolant R32 to maintain your ideal temperature.
Cool and Quiet
The Keystone KSTAW05CE creates a cool, comfortable space while maintaining a 12.1 EER and saving you money. With 3 cooling fan speeds plus auto mode, you can easily control airflow and temperature level for maximum comfort on hot days. You can select temperatures from 62° - 90° Fahrenheit.
- Cooling: Enjoy 5,000 BTUs of cooling power for hot summer days
- Dry: Dehumidify your space up to 1.3 pints per hour when humidity levels soar.
- Fan: Introduce fresh air into your space on mild days by opening the vent and using this mode.
- Sleep Mode: Contributing to energy efficiency, as well as comfortable sleeping, this mode gradually increases the temperature twice, then remains at a constant level for the next 6 hours before returning to the original set temperature.
Many people are concerned about noise levels with window units, but the Keystone 5,000 BTU window AC runs at a mere 50 dB on low fan speed, so your sleep won’t be interrupted.
Simple Installation
Use the included installation kit with railings, side curtains, and all hardware to install the KSTAW05CEA into any double-hung window with minimum width of 23 inches and maximum width of 36 inches.
Additional Features
- Remote Control: The full-function remote control includes a “follow-me” function that records the temperature at the remote location and adjusts operation accordingly.
- Multiple Fan Speeds: Choose from high, medium, or low speeds when using the cooling function. Heating operates at a single set fan speed.
- 24-Hour Timer: Use this to start or stop the unit after a pre-set number of hours. You’ll come home to a comfortable space and save money by not using the unit when it isn’t needed.
- Air Flow Control: Use the 4-way directional air flow control to direct air where it’s most needed.
- Washable Air Filter: Designed to help trap larger particles and dust, your air will be cleaner as well as cooler. A “check filter” indicator will flash on the control panel when it’s time to clean it.
- Auto Restart: This feature saves your settings and automatically restarts the AC after a power outage.
