What's In The Box?

  • KwiKool 60,000 BTU Portable AC
  • Four Removable Wheels
  • Owner's Manual, Guides, and Other Documents

When your building's dedicated HVAC goes down, or a temporary event needs immediate cooling, the KwiKool KPO5-21 60,000 BTU Indoor/Outdoor Commercial Portable AC can be deployed on-site without permanent infrastructure. This American-made portable air conditioner fits through standard 36-inch doorways and is built for repeated commercial and industrial use.

You can position the KPO5-21 outside and duct cool air into the building, or place it inside and direct airflow to a sealed interior room. A variable frequency drive on the condenser keeps the system running in ambient temperatures from 30 to 110 degrees F, maintaining your cooling capacity through temperature extremes.

Key Features and Benefits of the KwiKool 60,000 BTU 230V Indoor/Outdoor Commercial Portable AC

  • Powerful Airflow: Moves up to 3,500 CFM (2,400 CFM on the AC with Heat configuration), circulating air effectively across large commercial and industrial spaces.
  • Extended Ducting: Cold air supply reaches up to 50 feet and hot air exhaust extends up to 65 feet, letting you cool sealed interior rooms from a remote placement using 12-inch ducting.
  • Condensate Pump: A built-in high-lift condensate pump pushes collected moisture out automatically, and a full-bucket auto-shutoff prevents overflow if you choose manual emptying instead.
  • Hardwired Connection: Runs on a 208-230-volt single-phase circuit (50-amp at 208 volts, 60-amp at 230 volts) that must be hardwired by a qualified electrician for stable power delivery.
  • Compact Footprint: Measures 49 x 32 x 48 (H x W x D) inches, making it compact enough for tight deployment areas in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Heavy-Duty Mobility: Removable locking wheels and forklift skid access let you roll or lift the air conditioner into position, then secure it for stable operation on-site.
  • Dual Controls: Features electronic and manual controls alongside fan-only and dehumidifier modes, giving you flexibility to adjust operation as conditions change.
  • Galvanized Steel: A galvanized steel enclosure withstands harsh jobsite conditions, providing long-term durability for repeated indoor and outdoor deployments.
  • Electrical Protection: A built-in phase monitor and overload protection on both compressors and motors guard against voltage irregularities, reducing the risk of component damage.
  • Auto-Restart: If power is interrupted during operation, the air conditioner automatically resumes at your previous settings when power returns, minimizing downtime.
  • ETL Listed: Meets ETL safety standards, confirming independent testing of the air conditioner's electrical and mechanical systems for safe commercial use.

Choose Your Configuration

The KPO5-21 is offered in 2 configurations, AC with Heat and Cooling Only, so you can select the setup that fits your facility's year-round climate needs.

  • AC with Heat: This configuration adds 41,600 BTU of heating capacity and uses R-454B refrigerant, turning the portable air conditioner into a year-round climate solution for facilities that need both cooling and heating.
  • Cooling Only: Running on R-407C refrigerant, this configuration focuses entirely on cooling across large open floor plans.

Sylvane's Expert Take

If you manage a commercial facility, server room, a school, or an event venue and need temporary or emergency cooling for large open spaces, the KwiKool KPO5-21 is built to handle that demand. Its extended ducting pushes cold air up to 50 feet from the air conditioner, so you can park it outside a building and still cool a sealed interior room that smaller portables cannot reach. The AC with Heat configuration gives you heating output for year-round utility, while the Cooling Only version maximizes airflow when heating is not a concern. Either way, the internal high-lift condensate pump keeps the air conditioner running continuously without manual bucket emptying during extended emergency deployments.
