Relax in cool comfort all summer with the Midea 12,000 BTU Window AC, featuring a 24-hour timer and handy remote control.

Ideal for rooms or areas up to 550 square feet, this EasyCool window unit comes with a programmable thermostat and convenient operating modes.

Multiple Operating Modes

With this 12,000 BTU Energy Star air conditioner from Midea, you can enjoy indoor comfort no matter how hot and humid spring or summer becomes.

  • Cool: Set the thermostat from 62° to 86° Fahrenheit and maintain your desired temperature.
  • Dry: In this mode, the AC will operate as a dehumidifier, with the fan speed automatically set to low, and some degree of cooling will continue.
  • Auto: The AC will automatically select cooling or fan operation, depending on the temperature set point and the room temperature. This is the most efficient operating mode.
  • Fan Only: When temperatures are moderate, use this mode to circulate indoor air and exhaust stale air out of the space.

The LED screen on the remote clearly displays all of these functions and makes setting the temperature and selecting operating modes and fan speeds simple.

Energy Savings Means Money Savings

By including these energy-saving modes and an automatic 24-hour timer, this Midea window AC ensures money-saving eco functions you can depend on.

  • Energy Saver: This Eco button operates in cool, dry, and auto modes. The fan continues to run for 3 minutes after the compressor shuts off and then cycles on for 2 minutes at 10-minute intervals until the room temperature is above the setpoint, at which point it begins cooling.
  • Sleep Mode: Using the sleep button increases the set temperature by 2 degrees in 30 minutes, and then again in another 30 minutes. This temperature is maintained for 6 hours before returning to the originally set temperature.
  • Timer: Use this to set an automatic start or stop time in ½-hour increments for 10 hours, then in 1-hour increments up to 24 hours.
  • Follow-Me Remote: Its "follow me" function senses the temperature where you’re located instead of at the AC unit.

Additional Features

  • Filter Alert: When the air filter needs to be cleaned, this will illuminate to let you know.
  • Self-Evaporating: This helps reduce the amount of condensate that collects.
  • Auto Restart: In the event of a power loss, the AC automatically restarts with the latest temperature setting.
  • Fresh Air Vent: Vent closed position for recirculating air; vent open to draw fresh air into the room; vent and exhaust open exchanges air from the room while drawing fresh air in.
  • Air Direction Louvers: Direct airflow up or down and left or right as needed.
  • Installation: A complete installation kit is included with this unit.
