The MRCOOL 2nd Gen VersaPro 30,000 BTU 2.5 Ton Central Split System, designed for homes up to 1,400 square feet, is an Energy Star-rated ducted mini-split that delivers efficient and reliable climate control. The Energy Star-rated system features advanced inverter technology for optimal performance, a painted galvanized steel outdoor unit for durability, and a multi-position air handler to accommodate various home layouts.

The included Follow Me remote control, smart thermostat compatibility, and pre-charged Quick Connect line set simplify installation and climate control. The easy-access removable filter makes maintenance straightforward, ensuring long-term efficiency and air quality.

Powerful Ducted Mini-Split Heating and Cooling

The powerful airflow of the MRCOOL 2nd Generation VersaPro split AC, ranging from 1,210 to 1,680 CFM, can efficiently cool a designated area within a larger home or an entire residence.

  • High Energy Efficiency: This system effectively cools large spaces and whole homes while reducing energy costs with a 17.0 SEER2 and a 10.7 EER2 energy efficiency rating.
  • Quiet Operation: This split AC operates as low as 29 dB, ensuring the indoor noise level won't disturb you.
  • Heat Pump: The integrated heat pump system can heat up to 31,000 BTUs and has an HSPF2-4 rating of 8.5 and an HSPF2-5 rating of 6.6.
  • R-454B Refrigerant: This model uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R-454B, which has a much lower global warming potential than other refrigerant formulas. 

Flexible Installation and Operation

MRCOOL's VersaPro split system air conditioner offers flexible air conditioning solutions. Its multi-position air handler and other features improve usability and maintenance.

  • Smart Climate Control: The system can be controlled by a third-party 24V controller, such as the Nest thermostat or the included wired MRCOOL Smart Thermostat, which offers various programming and scheduling options.
  • Multi-Position Air Handler: The flexible design of the air handler allows for installation in various configurations, including upflow, downflow, and horizontal, to accommodate your home's layout.

Optional Supplemental Heater

A supplemental heater kit is available for this central ducted split system in the following capacities: 5kW, 8kW, 10kW, and 15kW.

Lineset Length Options

The model is available with or without a pre-charged R-454B refrigerant quick-connect lineset, which is available in 15-, 25-, 35-, and 50-foot lengths.
