I have indoors allergies and must maintain a clean, dust free environment. I have made many lifestyle adjustments to accomplish this, but the single most important tool has been my GD1010 vacuum. I've had it since 1999, have replaced the HEPA filter once or twice, and it runs as strong as ever. I am disappointed that Nilfisk no longers sells the GD1010. However, I am so relieved that I can order supplies from Sylvane. Also, I am happy Sylvane offers newer Nilfisk residential vacuums that that perform as well as the GD1010. I am keeping my eye on the models to decide which one I will buy next for my 2nd vaccum. (I will never give up my GD1010!)
