Whether you're removing asbestos or cleaning up after a drywall job, the last thing that you want is for fine particles to escape the exhaust. The Pullman-Holt 45HEPA-D's filtration system cuts down emissions by a minimum of 99.97% at .3 microns and also facilitates maximum airflow. It consists of:
- HEPA Filter—A single piece of high-grade HEPA media with pleats that are held open by aluminum separators for optimal airflow.
- Spacer Sleeve—A spacer sleeve that keeps the Dacron bag from touching the HEPA filter so that the full area of the Dracon bag is utilized.
- Polyester Prefilter – A 1-inch thick impact filter that is attached to the bottom of each HEPA filter to protect the filter from clogging.
- “Never Clog” Filter Bag—The filter bag shakes clean, shedding dirt like a duck sheds water for the best airflow possible.

The Pullman-Holt 45HEPA-D Vacuum runs on an industrial-strength 11.1-amp, 2-horsepower motor, which delivers 110 cubic feet per minute (CFM) and a 105-inch waterlift. It's a bypass motor, which means that vacuumed air doesn't enter into the bearing area—this prevents debris and dust from causing damage. It's 2-stage (has 2 fans), increasing suction power.
