Description
Description
Treating a single exam room or classroom shouldn't mean dragging out a full-size sprayer. The Vectorfog C10 ULV Cold Fogger is listed with the FDA as a medical device, so you can apply disinfectants and anti-microbials with a tool sized for the room in front of you. Its controls sit on top of the molded handle, where you can see and reach them as you work.
Sanitizing is only one of its jobs. The C10 also applies pesticides and herbicides, as well as fungicides and deodorizers. Indoors, it works in basements and greenhouses. Outdoors, it covers decks and patios, along with extended yard space, so one fogger can handle seasonal pest control alongside routine disinfection.
Key Features and Benefits of the Vectorfog C10 ULV Cold Fogger
- Adjustable Droplets: Droplet size adjusts from 5 to 50 microns, so you can match the mist to the solution and the surface you are treating.
- High Output: A flow rate of about 16.9 fluid ounces per minute lets you cover a small room quickly and get on to the next space.
- Spray Distance: The fogger sprays up to 16 feet, so you can reach the far corners of a small room from a single spot.
- Portable Weight: Weighing 3.7 pounds, the fogger moves easily from room to room, so you can treat several small spaces in one session.
- Tank Capacity: The 0.3-gallon tank is sized for one-off treatments of small areas, so you mix only the solution you need.
- Long Power Cord: A 16.4-foot cord lets you work across a small space without switching outlets partway through a treatment.
- Standard Power: It plugs into a standard 110-120-volt outlet and draws 350 watts at a maximum of 2.9 amps, so ordinary household circuits can run it.
- Solution Compatibility: The fogger accepts both water-based and oil-based solutions, so you can use the formulation that suits each job.
- Compact Footprint: It measures 14.6 x 6.5 x 10.4-Inches (L x W x H), small enough to store on a shelf between treatments.
Choose a Solution That Protects Your Warranty
The C10 works with a wide range of chemicals, but 2 limits protect both the fogger and its warranty. Keep any solution within a pH range of 5 to 9 at 200 PPM. A solution outside that range, whether more acidic or more alkaline, voids the warranty.
Never run chlorine-based disinfectants through the C10, including HOCL solutions. They cause oxidation inside the fogger and also void the warranty. When you switch between a disinfectant and a pest-control product, check the pH on each label before you fill the tank.
Sylvane's Expert Take
If you run a vet clinic or a small office and treat rooms one at a time, the C10 is the right size for the job. It works best in enclosed rooms such as exam rooms and basements, where the spray covers the whole room from one position. Because it plugs in, plan your route around outlets. The adjustable droplet size and low weight matter most here, and they make this fogger easy to keep on hand for quick treatments.
