I needed fans to circulate cool air from my Hessaire mc37v evaporative cooler in my garage to a workshop inside the garage. I shopped around at larger commercial fans but was not wanting the noise or poor reliability. The Vornado 293HD works great! I bought the yellow and green model to circulate cool air around my 1500 sg foot garage. Combined with the evap cooler it has lowered the temperature in my garage from 95 to 80 degrees which allows me to work and workout comfortably. They are quiet and powerful in a small package. I highly recommend these fans over anything else at this price. Sylvane shipped promptly and their price was the best I found.Thank You!

I have owned a Vornado fan for 20 years ... the fan is still working but the one piece molded base has cracked and broken. Vornado does not offer a replacement case so I bought the 293HD heavy duty series, which was offered at the lowest price through Sylvane. and one other site. Sylvane was the 1st to get it in stock and notified me it was ready for me to purchase. The didn't go up ! I like the new color option and i don't think I will ever have to replace it.

No matter how much I tightened the knobs the fan still moved. I would not reccomend this product. The only plus it does throw good air.
