I bought 2 of these HEPA filters for my Whispure air purifier. Unfortunately, they both small strongly of something like sawdust and I have yet to use them. They have been sitting on a table airing out for 4 weeks. The odor has decreased, but not enough to use them in the air purifier without making the whole room reek of sawdust. They were packed in 2 different Whirlpool boxes but both smell just as strong. This is a highly frustrating, as they cost nearly $60 total. Hoping after they sit out for 8 weeks the smell will be gone...
