The Whirlpool 12,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner can take on the heat and humidity of summer, keeping spaces up to 550 square feet comfortable. Three operating modes and fan speeds provide versatility for greater use year-round.

  • Cool: Stay cool when temperatures soar with this portable air conditioner’s 12,000 BTUs of cooling power. 

  • Dehumidify: This mode removes up to 3.5 pints of excess moisture per hour and stops humid indoor conditions. An optional drain hose (not included) can be connected for continuous draining when using this mode.

  • Fan Only: On more moderate days, you can still enjoy refreshing air circulation by selecting this mode. Use for low, medium, or high fan speed, depending on the need.

Simple to Install and Use

This portable AC unit includes a complete window installation kit and can be used in double-hung or sliding windows from 20 to 47 inches wide/high. Four smooth-rolling casters also make it easy to place in the room or to transport to a different space.

The installation kit for this unit includes a window insert panel, flexible vent hose assembly, and window panel cover.

  • Electronic Display: The touch control panel is intuitive and has an easy-to-read temperature display, so you make adjustments as needed.

  • Remote Control: This full-function remote makes operating and setting adjustments for this unit even simpler.
