I bought this unit for the size and the carbon filter add-on. It works very well in a small room. It's a little loud to have near you if you are trying to watch TV or sleep. I bought several units for my family. Two were fine. One unit had the feet on the bottom only half screwed in so the screws protruded and scratched my desk. Whoever did that must have had their eyes closed when they were assembling the machine. Not what I expect for the price or from something made in Canada.
