Description
From one of the most recognized supplier of flood restoration and drying equipment, the Ebac RM4500 is a rugged large capacity, portable dehumidifier for use in harsh environments. This industrial unit is available with or without a digital humidistat.
It is essential that flood water be removed and water damage remediated quickly to prevent growth of microorganisms, mold, and bacteria from homes and offices. The RM4500 can remove up to 150 pints per day, making it ideal for fast clean-up after flash-flooding and post-hurricane damage, or even heavy rains or a mains break.
Internal Condensate Pump
The high capacity internal pump can move condensate up to 10 feet, so that no installation is too difficult. Set up the unit, connect to a permanent drain, and let it run until the job is finished. The pump purge switch provides a way to ensure water is pumped out of the condensate outlet tube to prevent leakage when moving or storing the dehumidifier.
Optional Digital Humidistat
The Ebac RM4500-H model features a digital humidistat, providing the freedom of precise humidity control. The easy to use the programmable display shows you the optimum relative humidity, and runs the dehumidifier to maintain it. As a result, units can be left on the job without requiring oversight.
Low-Temperature Operation
Equipped with a Reverse Cycle defrost system, these industrial dehumidifiers can quickly and efficiently clear the coil of ice, while removing moisture in temperatures as low as 37 degrees F.
These professional dehumidifiers are also aided in low temperature environments by "Dual Cool" technology to pull large amounts of moisture from the air. This functions by passing humid air through an air-to-air heat exchange to precool it before passing it over the evaporator coil, where moisture is removed. This cool dry air moves back through the heat exchange in the opposite direction, providing cooling for incoming air, then over the condenser coil to be reheated before leaving the dehumidifier.
Durable Design
Constructed with rotational molded (rotomolded) polyethylene housing and a steel chassis, these industrial units are much more durable than conventional commercial dehumidifiers, leading to less wear and tear in harsh environments plus a longer operating life. The large, rigid handle and 2 large diameter durable wheels simplify transport and maneuverability during set up.
