Note: This window air conditioner requires a NEMA 6-15P plug and 220-240 volt circuit breaker.

We live in NY and purchased this for a ""through the wall air conditioner"" installation. Pros: 1. Friedrich says they keep the sleeve size the same so if we ever change the air condition, we won't need to change the size of the opening. 2. Its an attractive air conditioner so its a nice addition to the living room. 3. Friedrich builds air conditioners for commercial use so its well built. 4. Wi fi is nice and settings can be changed from a cell phone. 5. Can set to automatically change temperature setting and can set to turn of and on when need for during the day and during the night times. Cons: 1. Although the unit seems to be quieter than most air conditions, it is a ""through the wall unit"" and still makes some noise. 2. I thought with an expensive unit like this the thermostat would be more accurate. I find in the summer I am setting it to like 73 degrees to get it down to about 77 degrees and depending on the outside temp, it can vary.
