Description
Affordable and energy-efficient, the window mounted Keystone 10,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner delivers 10,000 BTUs of cooling for spaces up to 450 square feet. Great for new installs or replacement of old units, this highly efficient air conditioner features an EER of 12. Great for cooling comfort, it also features a sleep mode, as well as a fan only and dry mode.
Designed for cooling comfort, additional features include LCD remote control, LED display, digital controls, programmable timer, auto restart, and more.
NOTE: This Keystone Window Air Conditioner uses a NEMA 5-15P plug type. This is a 125-volt/15-amp, 3-prong plug with a face that looks like this:
Energy Saving Mode
This air conditioner has an energy saving mode with auto-cooling and auto-dry modes. The energy saving mode cycles the fan on for two minutes at 10-minute intervals, kicking on the compressor when the room temperature climbs above the set thermostat temperature.
User-Friendly Comfort
The energy-efficient air conditioner cools down spaces up to 450 square feet and delivers 10,000 BTUs of cooling. Program the adjustable thermostat between 62 – 90 degrees F, or select the mode that works best.
- Sleep Mode: In this mode, the selected temperature increases two degrees every 30 minutes over six hours before returning to normal presets.
- Cool Mode: Cool in the room temperature to the programed thermostat temperature between 62 – 90 degrees F.
- Dry Mode: The dry mode easily removes up to 2.3 pints of moisture per hour.
- Fan Only: Circulate stagnant air without cooling from the condenser for reduced energy use.
Simple Installation
With the included window installation kit, this air conditioner fits standard double-hung windows with a minimum height of 13 inches and horizontal width between 23 – 36 inches.
Additional Features
- Follow Me: This mode detects temperature pockets throughout the room with the remote.
- Digital Controls: Use the onboard digital push buttons to select functions.
- Remote Control: The backlit LCD remote control displays the timer and temperature.
- Programmable Timer: Program the timer in half hour increments up to 10 hours, or one hour increments up to 24 hours.
- Power Cord: A 6.5-foot GFCI power cord plugs into any standard outlet.
- Overheat Protection: A three-minute delay start prevents overheating when the unit is turned on and off quickly.
- Auto Restart: During a power outage, it will restart to previous presets.
- Adjustable Thermostat: Program the adjustable thermostat between 62 – 90 degrees F.
- Louvers: Move the horizontal louver to adjust airflow.
- Fan Speed: Select between three fan speeds for cooling, fan only, and dry mode.
- Mesh Filter: A washable, removable mesh filter is included.
- Clean Filter Indicator: Select the clean filter indicator for filter cleaning reminders.
- Fahrenheit/Celsius: Choose between Fahrenheit or Celsius degree readout.
- UL-Rated: Certified and rated for safety, it comes with a UL-rating.
