Description
Description
When you need a reliable, high-capacity dehumidifier that continues extracting moisture even in the most unforgiving low temperatures, look to the Phoenix D385 Portable Desiccant Dehumidifier. This mid-sized desiccant dehumidifier excels in structural drying and dehumidifying applications to help you restore an ultra-dry, healthy environment.
Phoenix D385 Desiccant Dehumidifier: Powerful Moisture Removal
Using desiccant dehumidification technology, the Phoenix D385:
- Extracts 116 pints of damaging moisture under AHAM conditions (80 degrees F, 60% relative humidity)
- Processes air at 385 CFM to provide 3 air changes per hour in areas up to 7,000 cubic feet
- Operates successfully in temperatures ranging from 10 to 140 degrees F
Operates Vertically or Horizontally
The Phoenix D385 Portable Dehumidifier features a unique design that can be configured to operate the unit vertically or horizontally. This is a great advantage in low-clearance crawl spaces and other tight spaces that require a high-capacity, full-size drying solution.
The D385's flexible design means it will fit inside most crawl spaces, eliminating the possibility that someone will tamper with the unit's operation. The flexible design also means you will more accurately target dehumidifying within the humid area for faster and more efficient drying.
Multiple Ducting Configurations
The Phoenix D385 Desiccant Dehumidifier has a 4-hole design that enables you to set up multiple ducting configurations, including positive, neutral, or negative pressure airflow.
This design also allows you to place the D385 in the drying space while isolating the reactivation air stream so it doesn't counteract the dehumidifying process.
During operation the unit dehumidifies 385 CFM of air in an initial air stream and releases a second reactivation air stream at 75 CFM. The reactivation stream exhausts collected water vapor out of the dehumidifier. The D385 includes a 6-inch round duct collar used for ducting the reactivation air stream to a location outside of the drying space.
Additional ducting accessories for the Phoenix D385 are sold separately.
Additional Features
- Air Filtration: The D385 comes standard with a MERV-11 process filter and a MERV-7 reactivation filter to ensure high operating efficiency, protect the machine's internal components, and rid the air of harmful particles.
- Pilot Light: Illuminates when the machine is dehumidifying. One glance lets you know it's operating successfully at a noisy jobsite.
- Digital Hour Meter: An onboard hour meter measures cumulative operating time and stores it when the machine is unplugged to help you track total job hours and plan maintenance schedules.
- Large Wheels: Large, smooth-rolling wheels and a sturdy handle make it easy to transport the unit from job to job.
- High-Impact Skid Plate: Protects the dehumidifier from damage when navigating obstacles such as curbs and stairways and when loading into vehicles.
- Storage Compartment: Store the reactivation duct collar, power cords, filters, and other small items you might need on the job in this onboard compartment.
Summary
The Phoenix D385 Desiccant Dehumidifier is a mid-sized, high-capacity desiccant dehumidifier that performs well in extremely low temperatures and features a flexible, configurable design to suit a range of jobsites.
