Description
Compact and portable—this is the new Phoenix Firebird Compact 20 Heater. At just 12.5-inches high and 13-inches wide, this 35-pound stainless steel heater can be stacked 6 units high. An internal temperature sensor safeguards against overheating situations while up to 20,000 heating BTUs move at 250 CFM. Easily warm up any workspace up to 70 degrees F, and duct with 8-inch ducting for recirculation of heat for crawlspaces and subflooring.
Engineered by Madison, Wisconsin-based Therma-Stor, this heater also features a remote thermostat kit, overheat protection, low airflow cut-off, and more.
Four Heating Options
The Phoenix Firebird Heater features 4 heating options at 15-amps and 5,000 BTUs each. Use as many plugs or power as needed for thorough heating and drying, up to 20,000 BTUs.
The included remote thermostat kit features easy wiring to the heater and thermostat control. Use the included 25-foot connecting wire, and set to the temperature you need. The heater will cycle on and off once the desired temperature is met.
Internal Temperature Sensor
New to the Phoenix Heater, the internal temperature sensor monitors the operating temperature of the heater, even when left unattended.
- Overheat Cut-Out: Prevents overheating of unit and area when temperature reaches 140 degrees F.
- Low Airflow Cut-Off: The heater automatically powers off if the heating banks are obstructed or if there are low airflow levels.
Instant Heating + Ducting
The built-in ducting collar and optional intake duct adaptor uses 8-inch flex ducting for distributing upwards of 20,000 BTU of warm air. Move 250 CFM of heated air in temperatures as low as 17° F up to 70° F. This heater provides heating and recirculated heat to water damaged crawlspaces, subfloors, and areas up to 500 square feet.

- Start Up Delay: A start up delay prevents sparking or arching inside the heater.
- Enclosed Elements: The heating elements are protected inside a stainless steel cabinet with double walled insulation and screen.
- Hour Meter: Keep track of jobsite hours with the included hour meter.
- ETL/UL: This product is ETL/UL-listed, ensuring safety when left unattended on a jobsite.
- Stackable: Stack up to 6 units high by aligning the rubber corners for stability.
- Transportable: Use a strap or tie-downs to safely transport 6 stacked units in a vehicle.
- ON/OFF Rocker: Use the ON/OFF rocker switch to operate power to the heater.
- Filter Replacement: Easily replace the mini pleated MERV-13 filter by moving the tabs on the front.
