This washable pre-filter is an added protection for the Santa Fe Compact70 dehumidifier as it prevents large particles and debris from entering the unit and preserves the MERV filter for small particle filtration. It is recommended to replace it if worn or damaged.

This filter is used for a dehumidifier in a crawlspace. I change out once a year since the space is spray foamed so there isn't much dust in the area. Sylvane is the only place i can find the size needed.
