How Does It Work?
The Aprilaire Ventilation Controller decides when and how long to ventilate based on its continuous monitoring of indoor relative humidity, outdoor temperature, and user-friendly settings. This makes it energy-efficient.
- Provide fresh air only when needed.
- Never allow air that’s too hot, too cold, or too humid.
- Provide an energy-efficient way to get fresh air in your home.
- Will not ventilate if the outdoor air raises the indoor relative humidity above 55%.
What's Included
The Aprilaire 8126A integrates outside fresh air into air conditioner and furnace systems, as well as electric heat pump systems. Other features include:

How can I prevent extreme back-flow condensation from the coil leading back into the duct pipe. (Even when I have it turned off. And, yes, I've taped it all off.)
