The Ebac CD30-S and CD30-SE Dehumidifiers provide dependable humidity control in demanding crawl spaces, industrial areas, marine environments, and remote equipment locations. Each model removes up to 15 pints of moisture per day under AHAM conditions (65 degrees F and 60 percent RH).
Built for permanent or portable use, these commercial dehumidifiers combine durable steel construction with automatic humidity control and continuous gravity drainage. It is available in four different model options.
Key Features and Benefits of the Ebac CD30-S and CD30-SE Dehumidifiers
- 24-Pint Moisture Removal Capacity: Each model removes up to 24 pints of moisture per day under AHAM conditions to help control excess humidity in spaces up to approximately 400 square feet.
- Adjustable Humidistat: Select your desired humidity level, and the dehumidifier automatically cycles on and off to maintain the set point while reducing unnecessary energy use.
- Continuous Gravity Drainage: The included drain pipe allows collected condensate to flow continuously to a nearby drain or approved discharge location for unattended operation.
- Low-Temperature Performance: Ebac’s Hot Gas defrost system quickly melts frost from the evaporator coil, helping the unit continue removing moisture in cooler environments with minimal downtime.
- Heavy-Gauge Steel Housing: The epoxy-coated steel cabinet withstands demanding industrial, marine, and commercial conditions while providing long-lasting protection against wear.

Choose the Right Ebac CD30 Model
The Ebac CD30 is available in four configurations, with a choice of manual or electronic controls and either R-290 or R-134a refrigerant.
- Ebac CD30-S (R-290): This model combines straightforward humidistat-controlled operation with R-290 refrigerant. It is a practical choice for applications that require dependable, unattended humidity control without advanced monitoring features.
- Ebac CD30-SE (R-290): This upgraded model includes electronic controls, an hours run meter, a power-on indicator, an alarm humidistat with a voltage-free connector, and a wall-mounting bracket. It is well-suited for permanent installations that require added monitoring, alarm integration, or space-saving placement.
- Ebac CD30-S (R-134a): This configuration pairs manual controls with the older R-134a refrigerant.
- Ebac CD30-SE (R-134a): This configuration combines electronic controls with R-134a refrigerant.

I'm happy with my purchase. I placed it on top on my air handler inside my 3rd floor sealed attic space. It had been way too humid up there, i was also having issues with rust forming on my air handlers way too quickly for their age. I am in South Carolina and within 15 miles of the ocean so some rust is still to be expected given the climate. I used the included drain hose to connect to my air handler's drain line. And I have it set on level 6-7 It does not run constantly and I cannot hear it through the celing when it is on. Overall the interior climate of the entire house feels dryer, no offical readings but I can feel the difference. I can also see the constant damp ground around the exterior drain line.

The size and its location were a perfect fit. The space is a sealed 1,200 cft mechanical space area. And performing better than anticipated.
