Description
Rugged and dependable, the Ebac CD30-S & CD30-SE Dehumidifiers keep hostile crawl spaces, industrial areas, and marine environments dry and mold-free. With a 24-pint capacity under AHAM conditions (80 degrees F at 60% relative humidity), these units can cover about 400 square feet.
Both models include an adjustable humidistat that maintains your selected humidity, along with a gravity drainage system for continuous, unattended condensate removal.
High-Efficiency, Hassle-Free Dehumidifying
Heavy-duty and portable, these rugged dehumidifiers are equally at home in hostile industrial and marine environments. These reliable options don't require constant attention, and can be permanently installed in remote areas like pump stations, pipe galleries, and electronic and mechanical equipment areas.
Adjustable thermostat allows you to set your desired humidity, and the dehumidifier will maintain the set-point, running only when needed. This conserves energy, saves money, and ensures a consistently dry space with little intervention. For simple condensate removal, connect the included drain pipe and route it to a nearby drain or other location.
Model Options
Ebac CD30-SE: In addition to its impressive durability and design, this model has electronic controls and includes a humidistat alarm with voltage-free connector, an hours run meter, a power on indicator, and a wall mounting bracket.
Ebac CD30-S: For simple, reliable operation, this model is a tough, self-sufficient workhorse with on/off control via the humidistat.
Operates in Low Temperatures
Both the Ebac CD30-S & the CD30-SE dehumidify efficiently even in cool temperatures. Using Ebac's powerful Hot Gas defrost system controlled by an electronic timer, frost is quickly melted, and the normal operation resumed with little downtime and expense.

I'm happy with my purchase. I placed it on top on my air handler inside my 3rd floor sealed attic space. It had been way too humid up there, i was also having issues with rust forming on my air handlers way too quickly for their age. I am in South Carolina and within 15 miles of the ocean so some rust is still to be expected given the climate. I used the included drain hose to connect to my air handler's drain line. And I have it set on level 6-7 It does not run constantly and I cannot hear it through the celing when it is on. Overall the interior climate of the entire house feels dryer, no offical readings but I can feel the difference. I can also see the constant damp ground around the exterior drain line.
