For complete 10-year worry-free carbon monoxide detection, the Kidde C3010D Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Digital Display has you covered. This alarm detector is equipped with electro-chemical sensing technology to protect you and your family.
Featuring a 10-year sealed lithium battery, you never have to worry about failure or where to mount the alarm for greatest effectiveness.
Sealed Lithium Battery
With a sealed-in 10-year lithium power supply you’ll never have to worry about tampering, unauthorized deactivation, or power outages. This battery powers the Kidde CO Alarm for the full life expectancy of 10 years without needing to be replaced.
An end-of-life indicator from the alarm emits one quick beep every 60 seconds as an indication of low battery power.
Carbon Monoxide Alarm Levels
In accordance with UL 2034 requirements, the CO sensor will not alarm to levels below 30 PPM and will alarm in time ranges based on PPM level.
- 70 PPM CO Concentration: 60-240 minutes
- 150 PPM CO Concentration: 10-50 minutes
- 400 PPM CO Concentration: 4-15 minutes
The piezoelectric horn is rated at 85 decibels at 10 feet and will sound repeating 4 fast beeps, a pause and then 4 fast beeps. The red LED will flash in conjunction with the sound. Inside the cover is a quick reference guide for what to do in case of an alarm.
Digital & LED Display
This feature allows you to easily read carbon monoxide levels from 30 PPM to 999 PPM (parts per million). The Kidde carbon monoxide alarm also detects and stores concentration levels as low as 11 PPM up to 999 PPM with its peak level memory display.
Three LEDs operate for various situations. The green LED flashes once every 30 seconds to indicate proper operation; the red LED pulses to indicate CO has been detected; the amber LED flashes every second to signal alarm malfunction or low battery.
Additional Features
- Automatic Activation: When attached to the mounting bracket, the alarm is automatically activated with no switches or pull-tabs.
- Peak Level Memory: Displays the highest CO concentration measured since the last reset.
- Test/Reset Button: Test the unit for proper operation. Resets the Carbon Monoxide alarm.
- Simple Installation: The Kidde CO alarm can be mounted to a wall or ceiling using the included bracket without the need for plug access.
